Ripon - What's On in and around North Stainley and North Yorkshire

I've been here a few times now and I really like it. A friendly little cinema with bar and small, almost living room like, cinemas. I usually find seats in cinemas uncomfortable after a couple of hours but I'm always surprised how comfortable I am on the ones here. The staff are always helpful and importantly greet you with a smile. The place is clean and tidy and the tickets are a good price.

I love the fact that you can just walk to the Curzon cinema, they dont have a booking fee, are really friendly and its a stylish setting and the tickets are cheaper than all of the other cinemas and if you get membership you get 4 free tickets and discounted future tickets and food and drinks ( which all covers the cost of the membership)! Ripon has some lovely restaurants close by that are situated right by the Curzon too. We love having it on our doorstep.

Had a brilliant day! Great value and good variety of rides for all ages. Queues not too long. Staff all very friendly and professional. Food and drink reasonably priced too. My only complaint is that the toilets were very small with hardly enough space to get in and out when there was a queue. More toilets needed with more space! Also I don't think you should have to pay extra for the Dinosaur golf.

This is a fabulous place to go to. The staff is extremely polite and is always there to help. The queue system is amazing and they aren’t too long. There are different types of rides for different people. I come here yearly and I am planning my next visit very soon. Keep it up!

Beer was cold and the band were great. A really good night. Regularly have live music on.

Most gorgeous carvery i have had and compliments to the chef for his cauliflowercheese made frm scratch, great atomosphere nice people n child friendly, only 1 complaint i can say was either the young barmaid with glasses on didnt like the heat or that she was jst genuinely miserable bt no plz thankyou anything infact it stopped me n hubby wanting to go for drink off her but highly recommend this place.

Pick up your phone and book a table, you will not be disappointed. Great selection of food and cocktails all prepared and served by attentive, friendly staff. The whole meal was superbly tasty. The lamb on my dish was cooked to perfection, a little too pink for my lovely wife to try but I didn't feel guilty not letting her taste it as she devoured the crispy skin of her duck before I even had chance to ask for it. If I had to choose a favourite from the meal it would be the black pudding scotch egg starter, yum yum. I could just eat that again right now. We loved the whole experience and we will definitely visit again.

It was the first time round for me. Having lived in Ripon for number of years I've never been there until now. It feels nice and cosy inside although, in my opinion, some tables are too close to one another. Staff is very polite and not 'in your face'. Service is a bit on the slow side but there must have been some issues in the kitchen as we've been given a discount on the bill without complaining about it. Reading the menu, you have an idea what's on the plate but when it's in front of you, it looks different - in a positive way! Food is... absolutely delicious and I would definitely recommend to pay a visit. Will be coming back if I get the chance to!
