Went in for an early bird menu with my family. Prices were very reasonable, service was quick and friendly, and the pizza was absolutely gorgeous. A good, solid Italian restaurant near the center of Ripon. I'd definitely go again and would recommend a visit if you are in the area.

When we walked by there were only two people inside, but by the time we left there were two other couples and a group of four in the restaurant. My partner and I went without a reservation and were seated immediately. The staff was very friendly and service was quick. We ordered our food and we didn't have to wait long for our starters to arrive. The portions are generous. Halfway through our starters both my partner and I had the strange feeling that after this we'd pay the bill and leave, but we still had another course to go through! We ended up having to pay £30 for food for the two of us, but we'd had quite a few drinks, so the total came to just under £50. I ended up paying £55. I usually don't leave tips over 10%, but service at this place is excellent and the food is great. I would absolutely recommend stopping by this lovely little restaurant if you're in the area and in the mood for some great Thai food!

The food was gorgeous! Only problem I had with this place was they didn't have a licence to sell alcohol but they said we could bring our own.

I went with my wife and daughter for an impromptu meal out after a walk at Fountains Abbey. Really good food and service. We all had a really good time.

If I could give Valentino’s more than five stars, I would. Their service is next to none, the environment is nice and cozy, and the food is just... perfect. I literally cannot think of a single complaint or suggestion for this restaurant. I would recommend that if you are inbetween choosing some other restaurant in lovely little Ripon or Valentino’s, go with the later.

I cannot believe that after all the time and money spent on refurbishment, they have not included air con!!! Lunch today was sweltering....no fans or windows open . A shame. Food fine but waited nearly an hour for sandwich and chips . To be fair we were refunded cost of meal.

Roast Salmon with a warm salad of new potatoes, peas and pickled gherkins. Delicious! Fabulous selection of craft gins and cask ales. Will definitely visit again 😀

Pick up your phone and book a table, you will not be disappointed. Great selection of food and cocktails all prepared and served by attentive, friendly staff. The whole meal was superbly tasty. The lamb on my dish was cooked to perfection, a little too pink for my lovely wife to try but I didn't feel guilty not letting her taste it as she devoured the crispy skin of her duck before I even had chance to ask for it. If I had to choose a favourite from the meal it would be the black pudding scotch egg starter, yum yum. I could just eat that again right now. We loved the whole experience and we will definitely visit again.

It was the first time round for me. Having lived in Ripon for number of years I've never been there until now. It feels nice and cosy inside although, in my opinion, some tables are too close to one another. Staff is very polite and not 'in your face'. Service is a bit on the slow side but there must have been some issues in the kitchen as we've been given a discount on the bill without complaining about it. Reading the menu, you have an idea what's on the plate but when it's in front of you, it looks different - in a positive way! Food is... absolutely delicious and I would definitely recommend to pay a visit. Will be coming back if I get the chance to!

Bambudda take away is more like taking the restaurant home. The food is extremely tasty, well cooked and great portions, the staff are great, friendly and very professional. Providing a speedy but relaxed service

Authentic cuisine with fast and wonderful service. The atmosphere is nice and there is a great view of the cathedral. The price is also good for the high quality that you get. Will definitely return soon.

A really nice vegetarian café and bookshop. Very friendly owners. I was on my bike so the porridge with maple syrup and extra nuts was very welcome - and very well made. A selection of excellent teas and their coffee looked good. As did the cakes! As a second hand bookshop it's not at all musty and dusty. Good stock in good condition and we'll laid out. Obviously you don't eat the books, but still...

A great little cafe and book shop combo. Had probably the best chocolate cake I have ever ate in my life and the tea is amazing as well. If in Ripon, definitely give it a visit.

Absolutely superb. Always packed with fresh vegetables, reasonably priced and friendly staff.

Super quick preparation, we got a large munchie box lots of stuff to try, just beware 1 large box will feed 2-3 people.
